Online news channels form one large echo chamber, where the orientation of news becomes increasingly fluid. Based on one specific news topic you will explore the broader use of image (satire, comic illustration, memes, edited image) to highlight and direct content through various outlets. A well-curated selection of visual statements presented on A0 posters will be the outcome of this interactive workshop.
ACED is a platform for design and journalism with the aim of promoting interdisciplinary collaboration between the artistic and journalistic field. This is the first of three different hands-on workshops representing our news culture. The other two are on Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 October.
