Just back from Tsjernobyl, Liam Young from the London-based think tank Tomorrow\'s Thoughts Today is coming to MU to share his findings and experiences. Next to making installations like the Robot Zoo, now showing in The Great Babylon Circus at MU, Tomorrow\'s Thoughts Today, together with a group of other artists and scientists, investigates the most extraordinary places on earth. The group’s mode of collective research allows them to come up with remarkable representations of the built environment, often considering the utopian and the dystopian elements of our past, present, and future lives.
With the tensions about the nuclear reactor in Fukushima, Japan still fresh in memory it promises to be an inspiring lecture.
Lecture in English.
